16. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I'm really impatient. I sometimes forget to enjoy the ride when I'm constantly chasing the finish line. Being truly present would be such a gift.
17. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My ability to put blinders on while I was sick. Going through something like that forever changes your priorities and mindset. I'm a driven person with big career goals, but I'm able to differentiate what's real from what isn't and I'm really proud of that.
18. If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
I want to live a really long, happy life with the people I love, so I don't want to think about this right now!!!
19. Where would you most like to live?
Having my life split across the world is something I really struggle with sometimes. It's a blessing and a curse to live away from family, but I've built such an intentional life here in NYC that I feel grateful to have so much love in both places. Maybe I'll end up in California, somewhere between Australia and New York.
20. What is your most treasured possession?
I have some special things collected from my grandparents travels that my grandad gave me. They remind me of home here in NYC.
21. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Comparison.
22. What is your favourite occupation?
Swimming!
23. What is your most marked characteristic?
I'm a true Capricorn: direct, impatient, caring, and reliable. I also think I'm pretty funny.
24. What do you most value in your friends?
Spontaneity, because I'm a creature of habit and need a little push, along with reliability and openness.
25. Who are your favourite writers?
I love so many, but two of my favourite books are Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom and Any Ordinary Day by Leigh Sales.
28. Who are your heroes in real life?
My grandparents. They were such pillars in their community and raised so many children, not just their own two daughters, but anyone who came through their door. When my grandad passed away last year, it was incredible to see everyone who showed up at his funeral carrying such warm memories of them. I felt so honoured to be his granddaughter, and it truly changed my view of success.
29. What are your favourite names?
I love the name Sunday. It's my pup's name.
30. What brings pleasure to your day?
My little family and small luxuries: a fancy moisturizer or bath product, collected ceramics, fresh flowers, and boxed chocolates.
31. Do you have any products or objects you can't live without?
I can’t live without chapstick and really good bed linen.
32. Where is your favourite place to wake up in the world?
Definitely by a beach where you can feel the warmth the second you wake up. I really hate how much America uses air conditioning. I crave a ceiling fan and open window!
33. What is your motto?
"What is meant for me will always find its way." I've always trusted the universe and the path I'm on. My mum instilled that in us from a very young age.
